How we work.
We take pride in how we stage a house for the remaining possessions and have numerous shelving units and commercial tables with covers to help display items to their best advantage. Typically, we group items in the same area-electronic items-tools-books-children's items etc. This method allows buyers of certain item types to not have to wander all around the property to find things they are interested in, and generally results in higher sales because the buyer has the thing's he/she wants all in one place. From the beginning we organize, display and price items, schedule advertising, post directional signage and conduct the sale.
Everything is displayed and positioned to maximize a traffic pattern that will allow the most people to view the most items in the shortest period of time, which allows the next group of buyers to begin to enter the property.
Next, we take professional photographs of all items for sale. Each photo is cropped and enhanced if needed to show the best look we can. Unlike some companies that quote pricing on the fly, we place a tag on each with a realistic price that is designed to sell items quickly while still maximizing best dollar value for the estate. Along with the Insignia owners, we have either on staff or by agreement, many consultants we can call on for correct pricing should we not be certain of a pieces’ true value. All items of high value will be placed in the most secure area possible and staffed full time by a trusted staff member. Other staff members will be constantly monitoring the sale while helping customers. Rare and extremely expensive items may be sold through other venues such as Ebay or, marketplace etc., or by contacting specialists in the field and getting bids.
